Portsmouth CIL Transformation Fund
You need a crowdfunding project to apply for funding. Start or continue adding your project and, if eligible, you'll be prompted to apply.
Once an eligible project has raised 25% of their fundraising target from multiple pledges, if you meet the Council’s criteria and sign up to their terms and conditions, PortsmouthCity Council may pledge 50% of the target (up to a maximum of £5,000), subject to available funds within the ward the project is located within.

Projects must be located within Portsmouth and help address the demands that development places on the city. Each potential project must meet the fund criteria and sign the fund terms and conditions.
In addition to the above criteria, the fund will focus and give priority to projects that:Match funding is ward specific and as such, your project must be located and delivered within a specific ward of the city of Portsmouth (PO1-PO6).
A full 'detailed' breakdown of your project costs is required in your application, including the level of match funding looking to be secured. Please be aware that revenue expenditure such as (but not limited to) ongoing utility bills, rental costs and salaries are not eligible to be funded from the CIL Transformation Fund
